May started out with the end of the ski season and the official kick-off into Spring as well as a wonderful (albeit blustery) Mother’s Day. Through the grace of God, I am blessed and grateful for the gift I was given everyday as Jade’s mom. Being that she is on the autistic spectrum, she is the essence of purity, innocence, non-judgment, and light – not only to me, but all of those around her. Not to mention how passionate she is about volunteering throughout the community 🙂

National vs. Local Trends

So we decided to look at single family and duplex sold prices in our local neighborhoods and in many cases, average sold prices are up anywhere from 29% (Wildridge) to 127% (Arrowhead). The neighborhood of Singletree (or the “Sun Belt” of the Vail Valley) has seen an increase of 96.9% since 2020, and EagleVail (a local favorite) has seen an increase of 82.2% since 2020. It will be interesting to see what the second half of this year will bring!
