In Real Estate News…
Despite the the number of new contracts being down slightly compared to 2021, the sales volume and average sold price are trending upward within the first quarter of 2022. Inventory continues to remain low, however, we were excited to see a nearly 7% increase in new listings hitting the market between February 15th and March 15th. For now, the number of new listings is outpacing the number of new contracts, which a good sign for buyers who are ready to purchase!
If you are serious about jumping into this market, it is still crucial that you are properly prepared. That means, narrowing down your ideal location, fine-tuning your needs vs. wants list, and getting pre-qualified from your lender if you are utilizing a loan.
