Eagle County hasn’t seen numbers like this for nearly a decade, topping $1 Billion in real estate sales for the first half of 2017. Yes, you read that right. Due to a flourish of activity, no real off-season for home purchases, and the iconic sale of Park Hyatt Beaver Creek for $145 million, 2017 is shaping up to be a record year – and sellers, you’re in for a treat!
Vail Valley continues to outpace 2016, both in sales volume and number of transactions, while high-end residential sales remain strong, specifically in Beaver Creek. According to Vail Daily, the area has seen a staggering 26 sales achieving $5 million or more in the first six months of the year, coupled by an additional 25 sales in the $3 million to $5 million range. This is creating a domino effect among affluent buyers, bolstering consumer confidence and sales.
Low inventory remains an issue, even more so for homes priced at $500k or below, while home values across the board are steadily rising by 10 percent year-over-year. Take a look at the numbers and see for yourself.
