Eagle County real estate is off to a slower start in 2019 than in 2018. Total transactions are down 16%, 223 compared to 265, and total dollar volume is down 6% to $245,739,882.
The overall average price is $1,128,651 including 7 sales over $5M selling in the first two months of the year. The highest being a Vail Village home (below) selling for $11M; $2,890 per square foot.
Eagle and Gypsum have the most transactions year to date with 33 and 29 respectively, followed by Beaver Creek (17) and Avon (16). Beaver Creek is averaging just over $2M per sale. Eagle and Gypsum were home to many of the 31 new home sales, which have totaled over $27M, year to date.
