- Eagle County real estate presented a strong start to the new year of 2017 with a 42% increase over last January – $154.6M in total volume compared with $109M. View November report here.The fast start was in large part due to several high-end sales with five transactions over $5M including a Lionshead property that sold for $12.42M, and a record breaking sale of $23M for a Vail home ($1,998 ppsf).
- There were 122 transactions in January averaging just under $1.3M. Eagle had the most transactions with 19, followed by Avon and Gypsum with 14, and Eagle-Vail with 11 sales.
- While 75% of the county’s total sales were under $1M, 42% of the total dollar volume came from the five sales that were over $5M.
