The Inventory Is There – Just Be Prepared!
We’re officially in the summer season with the Summer Solstice last night. I am loving the longer nights, outdoor concerts and backyard BBQs. As we approach July 4th, we are so excited to welcome visitors to the valley and celebrate all of our favorite summer activities!
Real estate sales continue to be robust even as inventory levels sit below 300. Despite low residential inventory, new properties are still coming to the market and new contracts continue to be written. If you are serious about jumping into this market, it is crucial that you are properly prepared. That means, narrowing down your ideal location, fine-tuning your needs vs. wants list, and getting pre-qualified from your lender.
Search for homes using the advanced map search on VailAreaRealEstate.com and save your favorite properties to come back to later. Remember, I often know of properties before they come to the market, so let me know about what you’re looking for and I’ll keep my eyes open for you!
See you soon!

In Real Estate News..
Between May 15th and June 15th, residential sales volume increased 167% as compared to the same time period in 2020. Over the last 30 days, we’ve seen a slight decrease in the number of new contracts written; likely due to the low inventory levels. Compared to 2020, the number of new contracts decreased 16%. Inventory continues to remain at record-lows with just above 260 residential properties available right now.
If you’re debating entering the market, now is the time to take advantage of my connections in the brokerage community and knowledge of listings that may be off the market.
